St Brigid's National School, Kill

Scoil Bhride was built in 1951 as a four
roomed school. It now has 16 classrooms
and 21 teachers with over 450 pupils. It
caters for boys and girls from the parish of
Kill and Johnstown. The school provides top
classeducation and has won many awardsfor
technology, drama (all Ireland champions
twice), sport and science.
The school is used for a huge variety of
activities outside normal school hours. At
present there are classes in ballet, sports,
dancing, chess, drama, violin, choir and
computers. The local musical society and
the Kill Singers also use the school as a
practise venue.

St Anne's National School, Ardclough

St Anne's National School caters for boys and girls from
Junior Infants to Sixth Class. Currently there approximately
170 children at St Anne's and there are 8 teachers
including the Principal. The pupils take part in all areas of
the Primary Curriculum and are involved in many extra
curricular activities including hurling, football, camogie,
cross country, art, choir, swimming, school concerts, etc.
Comhaltas organise tin whistle classes after school and a
summer camp takes place during July.
